Some of these (drone, turret, gas mine, and adrenaline shot) do require challenge tokens in order to be unlocked. Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts – Loadoutsīelow, you’ll see the loadout I’ve been using after finishing the campaign and while redoing challenges in Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts.
Most side passages will be littered with mines, as such, you’d a perk to help you detect them. You’ll rarely encounter armored vehicles (APCs), and you can easily avoid them using alternate passages or routes.Speaking of drones, enemy drones are quite easy to kill, although they can also spot you quickly if you’re not too careful.Turrets can be quite annoying and will require you to either hack them, use an EMP grenade, use a special EMP bullet, or disable them with your drone.Alternatively, you can use the drone to make tagging less troublesome. However, pinging the map using your high-tech mask won’t always reveal them. Cameras can be tagged by using your binoculars, much like other troops.Armored soldiers will require (a) a direct, clean hit to their throat where their armor’s weaker, (b) a heavy sniper rifle to penetrate their helmets, (c) special armor-piercing/AP bullets, (d) an upgraded melee kill perk, or (e) just blasting them to smithereens.Scopes with higher magnification would be helpful. Some rival snipers are quite skilled and might spawn in very distant locations from where you are. You’ll need (a) a light sniper rifle with a faster rate of fire, (b) a heavy sniper rifle though you’ll need to line up your shot to penetrate both targets, (c) a sniper rifle turret. Many troopers will patrol in pairs and some will be near each other. But, if you positioned yourself properly, you won’t even need mines, decoys, or other defenses. Enemies will, at times, try to find your sniping perch.
It’s also worth noting that you’ll want high noise reduction (weapons with silencers) and more silent movement if you don’t want an entire base to get alerted to your presence.
